Hey guys is anyone interested in racing either owasso,mich (asphalt) or Paragon,in (Dirt) both seem like really good tracks.If so shoot me a message or post we will be at one or the other.On a side note did anyone else showup to grundy today?We did and spoke with a track official. Man this sucks down here hope there is some kind of change because this really sucks.We thought about legend racing but there is absolutely no money in that. just some thoughts

SAT. AUG 9TH UMARA will be hosting the east -west dwarf car shootout at Grundy County speedway in morris,il.
it will be a 25 lap feature with 10 lap heat races we will be starting up to 24 cars!!!!
as of right now we have a $1500 purse and pit passes for non members are $30!!!
payout is as follows,
1st $250
2nd $175
3rd $150
4th $125
5th $100
6th $75
7th-24th $50
hope to see everyone there!!!!!

on the schedule on our website it say we are at grundy, on umaras it does not include us. i personally woudl not mind going back to plymouth. anyways does anyone have rogers email address so i can get some questions answered

Hopefully you all know that the standings I've been posting every week are not the official points. All I keep track of are the qualifying times and finishing postitions. If someone is penalized, I don't really have a way of knowing that so I do not assume any penalties. Final points should come from UMARA. Wow I just got a call from a friend that was on UMARA's website and the race was cancelled.Well this is bullshit! We should try to have our big race on 7-19 it looks like MCR might not have a race on that day
There schedule showes TBA on 7-19
We should also see about any outsider to just have to pay the $30 pit fee that night not the UMARA $20 membership fee per race
Then try to get Steve to up the pay out $300 1st $200 2nd $100 3rd everyone else $50
If we have $600 then Steve just has to bump up our normal payout by $10
What does everyone think about that?

I just got a call from our race director Roger B. He said that Steve and him got together to discuss ways to add to our car count. There are two points of interest for those of you that have not come to the track yet.

1.) Those of you that have not yet joined the club can do so at a pro rated price of twenty dollars a show. Come one week its twenty bucks, come the next seven its 140.00 dollars.
